Since I didn't have to work yesterday, I thought that I would take some time before the day got busy and do a little Christmas shopping. I haven't even started buying gifts yet, which is definitely not like me. I wanted to see if I could find some fashion clothing that I liked so that I would have something new to wear for the holiday season. More often than not, I can usually find fashion clothing that I like online, and if I ever have a problem with the size, the exchange policies are usually great. I'll admit that fashion clothing is my weakness, and more often than not when I start looking for one thing, I usually end up ordering much more than just that one thing. After all, if it's something I can use, why not order several pieces of fashion clothing and save on shipping right?

Well, I really thought yesterday morning that I could sit down and do a little shopping for gifts without getting distracted with fashion clothing. I had promised myself that I would only start looking at fashion clothing once I'd made a dent in my Christmas list, but that isn't exactly how it happened.

It did start innocently enough. I was looking for some gifts, and I thought about ordering mom a new outfit for Christmas. She isn't keen on shopping for fashion clothing, and I thought it would be great for her to have something new for the holidays. I really have a weakness for handbags, so I added it to my shopping cart. I tried to refocus on fashion clothing for mom, but my thoughts were on finding something to go with the bag. I ended up ordering two pieces of fashion clothing to my cart for myself before I ever continued shopping for mom. Luckily, I was able to find some fashion clothing that I really think mom will like for her Christmas outfit. I ordered it for her, although she will insist on paying for it since I will give it to her before Christmas. Today, I hope to make a real dent in my Christmas shopping list, as long as I can avoid the fashion clothing, I should be just fine.
