Formal Dresses
I love formal dresses. I loved buying them as a little girl and now. One of my favorite memories regarding formal dresses is buying them every year for my daughter's winter ball. As a little bridesmaid and in junior high and high school where there was a big winter ball at her school. We would go out or look online at formal dresses hoping to find the right one for her for that particular year.
My daughter has been chosen three out of the five times she was nominated for Winter Queen. She is a beautiful young girl and I am proud of her in every way. She was born with asthma and has been hospitalized with it several times but with her doctor's approval, we have always allowed her to experience life to the fullest. She has been a cheerleader and volleyball captain and plays basketball, soccer and front yard football with the family.
We have kept all of her formal dresses from the winter balls. They have sentimental value for us. Being a single mom, I have had to buy two of them at a resale shop but all five are beautiful and she makes the dresses even more so with her love of life and her vitality. The formal dresses are a reminder of a time when my daughter lived out her school years to the fullest even with a chronic illness like asthma.
