formal dress, trendy clothingThere is a time and place for formal dress and trendy clothing best served on weekend nights, business events or when trying to impress a significant other’s parents. The Super Bowl does not fall into this category. That is a main reason I declined a friend’s invitation to a formal Sunday party at some big house. This is the last day of Sunday football for a long time and I want to be comfortable. Mingling with a bunch of random people older then me, even with free drinks, is not my idea of what the Super Bowl should be all about.

You won’t see me rolling into the game with anything more then a tee-shirt and maybe sweats. On second thought, wearing sweats is really best for everyone when they are left in the privacy of home. I did find a couple nice button dress shirts online this week to add to my growing business professional side of the closet. Slowly but surely I’ll get more formal dress to balance out my tens of tee shirts. Too bad all of corporate America wasn’t into business casual. Online deals are saving my bank account in this new found search for formal dress and business attire.
