formal dress


The prom was only a month away amd my daughter had not gotten her formal dress yet. She had spent some time on line looking at different websites and had saved several possibilities. We found the time to sit down together and looked at the five formal dresses she was choosing from. I immediately nixed two of the gowns due to some fashion designs I disapproved of for my teenage daughter.

That left my daughter to choose a formal dress from the three remaining choices she had bookmarked. Her boyfriend was of little assistance as he did not want to ruffle her feathers. He did not even have a preference of colors. So, that left it all up to my daughter. She ended up choosing a blue formal dress in which she was able to match the color of her boyfriends tie.

They made a fine couple with her formal dress and his dress clothes. We had my daughters hair and makeup done at the salon. She looked so grown up. Of course, I had to take lots of pictures and fuss about how great they looked. Her boyfriend took her to a nice dinner before the prom. Ultimately it all came together quite well.
