trendy clothingIn my home town of South Shields in England trendy clothing is very important amongst young people. In fact to weekend revelers trendy clothing is even more important than staying warm. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night young adults gather in the town center to meet friends and have a good time at various pubs and clubs.  Everybody has taken the time to look their very best and wear trendy clothing and nobody wears a coat regardless of how cold it happens to be outside. Believe me when I say that it can get very cold in northern England in the winter. Why do people do this? When my husband visited my home town we went out one Saturday night so I could show him. He couldn’t believe that it was January and there were hundreds of men and women hopping from one bar to the next without coats on. I think that people from my home town wear trendy clothing without coats partially because South Shields is an economically depressed town. The weekend nights are the only chance young people get to party while looking and feeling glamorous.
