Now that I’ve booked the cruise that our family is taking later this year, I’ve realized that it’s time to start looking for a formal dress to take with me for dinner one night on board.   Mom called me the morning after I booked the cruise and asked if I had a formal dress to wear to the captain’s dinner.  I told her that I didn’t, but that I planned to start looking online to see what kind of selection I could find for a formal dress.  I knew that buying a dress online would mean that I’d find a much better price than if I went to any of the local formal wear shops.    She commented that she didn’t know much about shopping online and asked if she could come over and look online for a formal dress with me.   We set a date next week and have plans to do exactly that.  It’s going to be fun shopping with mom for a formal dress for the cruise.  I know it’s going to be a wonderful time for us all as a family to be together and I’m looking forward to the memories that we’ll make.
