Yesterday I received an invitation to a fundraiser dinner being held by a friend of mine and I don’t have the first thing to wear. I’ve never been one of those women who have several pieces of formal dress in their closet, but for this particular event, I definitely need to make sure I wear formal dress. Since it isn’t something that I ever wear, I had no idea where to begin looking so I called my sister and she said that the best place would be to look would be online. She said I could go to a local formalwear shop for a formal dress, but she said it would be something that someone else would probably have on, not to mention the prices would be higher than if I bought online. She said the selection is much better online and that if I needed help she’d be more than happy to help me find something. Since I really don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t know what kind of formal dress will look good on me and what won’t, I asked my sister to see what she could come up with. I’m sure she’ll let me know what she’s found soon, or at least I hope so, because I want to look my best.
