I was at the beach this morning with my husband having coffee and enjoying the sunshine, when I noticed a couple walk up in formal dress. At first, I found myself thinking that they’d taken a wrong turn somewhere and wondered what they were doing in formal dress at the beach. Not far behind them was a photographer, and as soon as I saw him I knew that they had to be there for some sort of photo session. Since I’m an avid photographer, I couldn’t help become interested in where they would take the photos in their formal dress and I found myself wondering if it was for a magazine or if maybe it was for engagement pictures. They spent about an hour in various locations around the café and then once they were finished they sat on the other side of us and said hello. We struck up a conversation with them and it was their engagement photos. They are also planning the wedding on the beach and when I commented on the formal dress they both said they had found a great website which offered fabulous prices. I wish I could be a fly on the wall at the wedding and I’d love to see what they’re going to wear on their special day.
