When my daughter asked me if I could help her find a formal dress to wear to her college graduation next month, I was more than happy to help her. She said that she’d looked at some of the boutiques locally where she attends school, but was amazed at how high the prices were for the formal dress. I explained to her that it was inflated due to the fact that she was in a college town and more often than not, when people needed specific types of formal dress they would pay whatever they could find as opposed to being smart and looking for the best buy. She agreed and said that several of her friends had already bought their dresses at some of the local stores, but that she wanted something different.
I asked her a few questions in terms of the color and style of the formal dress that she was looking for and told her I’d be looking online. I explained that not only could we find a better selection online, but that when it came to prices of formal dress, they couldn’t be beat. I sent her three choices that evening and she chose one of them. The price was great, and my daughter is going to look stunning come graduation.
