This past weekend my daughter when through a sorority rush at the college she’s attending and she had to have not one formal dress but two for the occasion. She had to look her absolute best for the weekend and because I knew this ahead of time, I had ordered her plenty of trendy clothing online. The great thing about ordering online is that I was able to get the trendy clothing for a fraction of what I heard some of the other girls were paying. In fact, the formal dress that she wore last night was practically a steal and she said she got so many compliments on it. I honestly don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t order clothes online because with as much as I have to get for my daughter to have for the formals and other socials that the sorority has, I would go broke if I couldn’t get the trendy clothing online for great prices. I was at the mall a few days ago looking for some trendy clothing for this fall and I was surprised to see a lot of short sleeves. My best friend said that it was so people could layer their fashion clothing much easier and while that may be the case, I am not a fan of seeing mostly short sleeves for the upcoming fall and winter season. I did notice that trendy clothing was going to have people wearing big, bulky sweaters, which is something that I happen to adore. I think I have a couple in my closet, but I plan to spend some time online in the next couple of days to see if I can find some fashion clothing that will reflect the colors that I love and not the earthier tones that seem to be in for this year. Not that I mind them, but when it comes to fashion clothing I do like to make a statement of my own, and I tend to love to add reds and deep oranges to the more neutral colors to produce a fabulous look.

There is the wild fashion clothing we see celebrities like Lady Gaga wear and then there is the classic style that stays relevant through the decades. The crazy fashion clothing is all about shocking people and attention. Some love that. I personally like to keep my wardrobe simple and comfortable. I do respect the people who come out wearing just ridiculous stuff with confidence. The farthest I take fashion clothing is seen with my shoes, sunglasses or business attire. One type of sun glasses I will always have at least a pair of are Aviators, first popularized by Ray Ban. Over 20 years of going out for new fashion clothing this time of the year has forever engrained the tradition of new wardrobe item buys this time of the year. School has started already for most people. My roommate goes back next week. I’m graduated at this point but still feel a need to go online for a new set of trendy clothing. This was the only time of the year I loved going clothes shopping with my mom because she was adamant about finding me a new pair of jeans, shoes, shirts and something nice for church. Now I’m all grown up and the buying falls onto my shoulders. The sting of spending money for fashion clothing is not quite as bad with web retailers. Last night my daughter informed me that she needs a new formal dress to go through sorority rush next week. She said that she had a couple of dresses but that the last night of rush she needed to have a beautiful formal dress because it was the night that she would find out which sororities wanted her and which one she would choose to join. I was very excited for her, but I couldn’t believe that she waited until the last minute to let me know that she needed the formal dress. We talked for a little while and while we were discussing classes and such, I started browsing online for what I thought would be a great formal dress for her. I ended up finding three that I loved, so I emailed all three pictures to her and she loved each one. I wasn’t sure how they would fit, and I knew I didn’t have time to return anything and order a new one, so I ordered each formal dress and will return the two that she doesn’t wear. I figured that was the safest bet.

This past weekend I took my girlfriend on a surprise trip down to the beach. The plan was trying this really good sand side café and then enjoy the scenery. Since it was a surprise, I couldn’t tell her to wear a swimsuit so I didn’t plan on swimming. I did tell her to where women's shoes she could walk in. Being a really hot that day, we had the right attire for the beach. After lunch, we went on a walk down the beach. I convinced her to come down near the water just above where the waves were creeping up on the sand. We walked for a good ten minutes without so much as getting sprayed with water.

Then a big wave crashed down and ran up the sand way farther than all the others. I had sandals on but her women's shoes weren’t made for getting wet. Those shoes stunk up the ride home as the salt water dried into the material. She would have been pissed if it wasn’t such a fun afternoon. I’ve since gone online for replacement women's shoes.

In Arizona, the weather is hot and so are the fashions. However, the price on the most sought after trendy fashion items is also enough to make a person sweat. Like most women, I simply love to get dressed up and go out for a night on the town. A few of my friends and I decided that it would be really fun to get really decked out in formal dresses and go to see an opera together. What was more, we decided to go on a premier night! Clothing accessories have been a favorite item for me to collect for some time now. When I bought my daughter a Raggedy Ann doll at a thrift store not too long ago, I had no idea that she’d come up with this crazy idea to dress her in fashion clothing. My daughter is 16 and has a love of trendy clothing herself, but I thought the Raggedy Ann doll would be something great that she could take with her to college and put on her bed. Several days later, she came in to the living room and asked if we could look online and see about getting some fashion clothing for her, and also for her doll. I honestly thought she was joking at first, but it didn’t take me long to find out that she was more than serious. My roommate and his girlfriend were invited to a wedding of one of the girls they used to work with. The invitation was a really creative looking fridge magnet that had the couple’s picture and wedding details. It is pretty hard to misplace an invite that sticks onto the kitchen fridge. His girlfriend was over when the mail came and his invite turned up. They started talking about it while I sat in the living room. Her greatest concern wasn’t getting there. With one week left to go before my sister starts college, we’ve been racing around trying to get all the last minute fashion clothing and other items bought and ordered for her. I thought for sure that for her first day of school that she’d want to go as comfortable as possible with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but she informed me last night that she was going to wear some of the trendy clothing that I helped her choose and order online. This morning I was walking through the grocery store and I noticed someone from behind that was wearing some really cute trendy clothing. I was also thinking about how I’d look in that particular outfit. While I was in the midst of my dream about the outfit, I heard someone call my name. I sheepishly admitted to her what I’d been doing and she told me that she would email me the link where she bought the trendy clothing from online. My buddy has been dead set on taking a specific girl he met through a friend out on a date. With an evening BBQ planned for this Friday that she is going to be at, he has been in search of new fashion clothing to put off a great impression when they see each other again. Apparently, this girl knows my friend has a crush on her. The funny part is going to be how he approaches her and starts laying on the smooth talk. Have you ever seen those make over shows on television where the person goes from frumpy to wearing the most adorable trendy clothing? Well, that’s what I’m hoping to do with one of my friends today, give her a makeover. She recently went through a divorce and said that she’s ready to get back in the dating game but she felt that she needed a new look and some trendy clothing. About a week ago, I went online and found several outfits that I thought would suit her new trendy clothing look and I ordered them. I have another friend coming over today who is a hair stylist and she plans to give her a new cut and also change the color. She knows Angie and has seen pictures of her, so she’s already chosen the style and color that she plans to use. I’m great with makeup, so hopefully between the trendy clothing, plus the new hair and makeup, she’ll be ready to take on the world. I’ve explained to her that sometimes it doesn’t take more than a few little things like a change of a hairstyle or a change to trendy clothing to make all the difference. With summer here my sister came by yesterday to go shopping. She stopped by during my morning coffee and announced that it was time for me to pull out my laptop, boot it up and find a trendy clothing website.
